US lawmaker briefed on IOK situation

Pakistan has, yet again, informed global partners that it won’t accept Indian decision of scrapping of Article 370-A

QUETTA: Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Mir Zia Langove, Finance Minister Zahoor Buledi and Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar on Friday discussed plight of Kashmiri people with United States representative Greg Johnston in Capital Hill. The meetings are part of an official visit to the US of the provincial ministers. During the meeting, provincial representatives briefed the lawmaker about the prevailing situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Langove seeks world attention on Kashmir situation

They said the occupation forces were blatantly committing human rights violations against Kashmiri people. “Indian government has been violating UN Security Council’s resolution in Kashmir for so long and recently revoked IOK’s special status designated in Indian Constitution despite harsh opposition from the world,” Langove said. He also said the Pakistani government has informed global partners that it won’t accept Indian decision of scrapping of Article 370-A, which ensured the autonomy of the occupied valley.
