CM Kamal pledges new reforms in education system

QUETTA: Vowing to support province’s talented students, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has said that it is imperative to bring new reforms in the education system to fulfill the dream of an educated and prosperous Balochistan.  He was addressing the concluding ceremony of Invention and Innovation Summit held at the University of Balochistan.

“We must foster modern technology and research in the province as this is the only gateway to polish creative abilities of our youth,” Chief Minister Jam Kamal said while addressing the summit. He lauded the varsity’s initiative to promote invention and innovation in educational fields.

“I am optimistic about Balochistan’s future because we have talented researchers who are willing to contribute in the province’s mineral, coastal, revenue and energy sectors. The government will provide full support to the talented students,” the chief minister affirmed.

Talking about the provincial government’s international educational programmes, he said the students are encouraged to visit and gain experience at foreign varsities through the initiative.

“Through universities’ reforms, Balochistan government is allowing students to share their recommendations which would be helpful in the provincial development,” he said.

Stressing upon skills development and human resource management, the chief minister said future business activities in Balochistan will yield immense job opportunities for the youth.

He also urged students to participate in extracurricular activities for fostering an innovative mind.
