In his online appeal to Prime Minister Imran Khan, to take notice of mistreatment of his family, Shah Nawaz accused customs officials of demanding bribe for clearing cigarette packets recovered from their luggage.
He made videos of the incident which were deleted by the officials on the pretext of security risk however the victim has circulated all undeleted videos on social media.
Shah Nawaz said that he was travelling back to the United Kingdom (UK) on September 16 with seven family members including wheelchair-bound mother and brother, who was a cardiac patient.
The Customs and Airport Security Force (ASF) officials at the joint counter seized 18 cartons from their luggage and allegedly demanded Rs18,000 for clearance.
The victim recorded the video which was deleted by the officials on the pretext of security risk however few videos were missed by them.
