Three cops implicated in robbery case

KARACHI: A local court sent three police officials and two others on two-day physical remand on Monday. The five are accused of robbing a house in North Karachi. Central judicial magistrate heard the case. Head Constable Abid, Constable Waqar Hussain, police official Yasir and two facilitators, Haris and Ahsan, were handed over to the investigation police for physical remand. According to police, the errant cops were deployed at Surjani Police Station. The accused police officials were arrested after the robbery case was registered at Khwaja Ajmer Nagri Police Station on a complaint filed by Waqas Nawab.
