Peshawar gets German visitors

K-P Tourism Department accords them a warm welcome

PESHAWAR: Two German women were strutting around the old city area of Peshawar turning heads in pleasant surprise.

Vlogger Gwen and photographer Velencia rode through the historical city and took keen interest in art, food and ancient structures, K-P Tourism Department (KPTD) said without giving their surnames, probably due to security issues.

The German tourists visited different historical and cultural spots in Peshawar including heritage trail, Sethi House and Masjid Mahabat Khan, a KPTD press release said. They also announced to spread the message on international level to highlight the great potential of cultural heritage and tourism in Pakistan. K-P Tourism Department accorded them a warm welcome, the press release said.
