Police arrest robbers and recover motorbikes

ISLAMABAD: Police claimed to have arrested two robbers and recovered five stolen motorbikes, gold ornaments, valuables and weapons from them. According to a police spokesman a team led by Nilor police station SHO Arshad Ali caught the robbers identified as Jaber Iqbal and Maqsood Aziz. Police team also recovered five motorbikes, gold ornaments, internet devices, valuable and weapons from them. The suspects, during preliminary investigation, confessed committing several robberies in areas of Khanna, Koral, Shehzad Town and Nilore police stations. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is under way. IGP Aamir Zulfiqar and DIG Operations Waqar Uddin Syed have appreciated overall performance of Nilor police team and announced commendation certificates along with cash rewards for policemen who arrested these robbers.
