He stated this during the Climate March organised at Lahore Press Club on Friday. He said that climate models suggest that without immediate action to reverse climate change, our planet will become much less hospitable to our modern globalised society. “The future of many living organisms is at stake. Not only are wild plants and animals at risk but people are the victims, as well as culprits, of the deteriorating state of nature.”
The director added that this is the first, nationwide Climate March to highlight the climate emergency.
