She shared these views while addressing a farewell party held in Balochistan High Court. “I commenced my journey as a judge 37 years ago and it is ending with me serving as a Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court,” Justice Tahira Safdar said. Vowing to fulfil responsibilities, she stated that judiciary works like a machine and for justice, every part of it should be in the right place.
“Without collective efforts, we can’t ensure justice for the poor masses as institutions are built with joint efforts of every single individual,” Tahira affirmed while stressing upon lawyers and judges to work towards the supremacy of law in society. “Nothing changes from who stays on the seat, people come and go. It is the services and judgements that matter,” she said.
