PM Imran briefs Saudi crown prince on Kashmir situation
The premier is in KSA on two-day official visit

Prime Minister Imran Khan, who reached Jeddah on a two-day official visit Thursday, has briefed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman on the prevailing situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) since New Delhi revoked the valley's special status.

The occupied territory has since been under a strict government-imposed lockdown and communications blackout.
According to a statement issued by the PM House, issues of mutual interest and bilateral relations were discussed in the meeting.
He condemned the recent attacks on oil installations in KSA, which has cut the kingdom’s crude production, fanning fear of further instability in the Middle East.
PM Imran was received at the royal terminal in Jeddah by Makkah's Governor Khalid Bin Faisal al Saud.
He is accompanied by the first lady and an 11-member delegation that includes Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Adviser on Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.
Following consultations with the Saudi leadership, he will leave for New York to attend the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Separately, the prime minister also met Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz.
According to the Saudi Gazette, “close relations between the two brotherly countries as well as the latest regional and international situation” was reviewed.
