KARACHI: This week saw celebrities amp up their style game and as always, we were here for it!

From silks, patterns, gorgeous traditional cuts and stripes...there's plenty of hot trends doing the rounds these days. Newlywed Naimal Khawar is still shining on in gorgeous traditional wear, Laal Kabootar star Mansha Pansha showed how to rock casual-cool by mixing patterns and Sanam Saeed gave new meaning to stripes and frills.

Bespoke embellished traditional

Naimal seems to be glowing more and more everyday and we can say nothing less for her latest post in this bespoke embellished white jora by Kanwal Malik. The stunning ivory formal spoke volumes. If you want to add a pop of colour, a simple red lip as seen on Naimal is perfect. Don't forget to keep the eye make-up minimal, though.

Speaking of embellished, actor Ushna Shah looked like a vision in this blush pink traditional ensemble. The powder shade gave an ethereal yet subtle look, while statement accessories boosted the formality of the overall cut. Voluminous hair and dewy makeup exuded femininity and is definitely an inspiration for your next fancy outing!

Mixing patterns

Struggling to find a trendy casual outfit but sick of white and denim? Mansha showed us how it's done by sporting some checkered, high waisted pants with a fitted stripped shirt. The key is when mixing different patterns, do not go crazy with colour. The actor got it right by choosing the same dove grey in both pieces to keep it streamlined.

You can also look to Malaysian modest fashion style girl and Chapters singer Yuna for another way to mix patterns and materials. Think leather, which is currently back on trend and, of course, a plaid blazer which is so chic on so many levels.

Silks are so classy and Alyzeh Gabol obviously knows that. A silk blouse is great for dressing up or down for a day or night event. The model-actor looked uber chic in these black pants and clear heels.

Everyone loves a good stripe because of how flattering it looks when done right. It is also a staple piece for any wardrobe. Sanam rocked a flared, stripped pant which made her look even more slim and tall, while creating a bit of femininity by pairing the bottoms with a frilled, off-the-shoulder top.

Meanwhile, Sabeeka Imam was a total head-turner in these pastel pants and a striped shirt. We adore the colour palette not to mention how striking the strips looked on her. This is a smart-casual ensemble to spice up your corporate wardrobe, also.
