LAHORE: The Lahore High Court issued a notice to the Faisalabad City Police Officer when hearing the case of a woman who alleged that the Millat Town SHO shaved her head. The woman claimed that she had come to the police stations to lodge a complaint over the abduction of her daughter by some influential persons of the area.

LHC’s Justice Shahbaz Rizvi heard Rabia’s case in which she mentioned that when she reached the Millat police station to seek the recovery of her daughter, who she believed was kidnapped by some influential people of the area, she was tortured by the SHO.  The woman’s lawyer informed the court that when the SHO failed to persuade her to withdraw the abduction FIR, he resorted to brutality and shaved her head in a fit of rage.

The  LHC has sought a reply from CPO Faisalabad on September 16, 2019.
