Shepherd killed in landmine blast 

A team of the Levies Force rushed to the scene of the incident and cordoned off the area

QUETTA: A shepherd was killed in the Talao Daman area of Duki district in a landmine explosion. According to Assistant Commissioner Meeran Baloch, a shepherd along with his cattle was passing through the Talao Daman area when he stepped on a landmine which resulted in a loud explosion.

A team of the Levies Force rushed to the scene of the incident and cordoned off the area. “The shepherd named Dad was killed on the spot. His body has been shifted to the nearby DHQ Hospital for the medico-legal procedure,” the official added. A police report has been registered against unidentified persons.

Meanwhile, a coal miner sustained critical wounds after being hit by a trolley at a local coal field in Duki. The injured collier, Noor Ullah, was shifted to Quetta due to the critical nature of his injuries.
