Tech-enabled Pakistani logistics company raises $7.8 million

Pakistan-based logistics company, Cheetay has currently raised $7.8 million in a Series A round from the US-based investors bringing the total raised investment of the company to $11.5 million.

Founded by Ahmed Khan, former CEO of Daraz, the company provides services in delivering food, groceries, parcels and medicines while it wants to expand its geographic outreach using the funds and invest in the development of the industry-leading logistics technology and algorithms.

“This magnitude of capital is a testament to the quality of technology that we have developed locally in Pakistan. With the fundraising behind us, we are now searching for driven, talented and creative leaders who can help take us to the next level,” stated Khan.

The company aims to revolutionise Pakistan’s tech space by developing a platform that connects local talent by increasing the employment rate and giving dvancement opportunities in the country.

"We are going to deploy our capital aggressively in our bid to become Pakistan’s pre-eminent technology company!” concluded Majid Khan, CEO at Cheetay.

Cheetay currently operates in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi in Pakistan.
