Mob Justice: 2 robbers caught, beaten up

MULTAN: Local residents held two robbers who broke into the house of a citizen and handed them over to the police. According to police officials, the incident occurred on Huzoori Bagh road when two robbers Sajjad Hussain and Asif broke into trader Abdul Shakoor’s house. Residents of the area held the two men and beat them for over an hour before police officials were called to the scene. In spite of several phone calls Kotwali police and 15 did not reach the scene on time and the crowd broke one of the robber’s legs. The citizens eventually took the robbers to the police station themselves to file a case.
