India lost contact with a spacecraft it was attempting to land on the moon earlier in the day, the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said, in a setback to the nation’s ambitious plans to become the first country to probe the unexplored lunar south pole.
The lander of India’s Chandrayaan-2 moon mission was attempting a “soft,” or controlled, landing near the south pole of the moon where scientists believe there could be water ice.

Fawad, firing a broadside at the arch-rivals on Twitter, also offered a helping hand, saying, “Dear Endia; instead of wasting money on insane missions as of Chandrayyan or sending idiots like Abhinandan for tea to across LoC, concentrate on poverty within.”
“Your approach on Kashmir will be another Chandrayyan just price tag will be far bigger,” the minister added.

As the news broke out late on Friday that the India’s ambitious plans had shattered, Fawad took to Twitter and mocked the Indian government, saying: "Awwwww..... Jo kaam ata nai panga nai leitay na..... Dear Endia (don’t attempt absurd which you cannot achieve)."

In the follow up tweet, the minister said he was surprised over the reaction of Indian trolls that they were abusing him for their moon mission failure.
“Surprised on Indian trolls reaction, they are abusing me as I was the one who failed their moon mission, bhai hum ne kaha tha 900 crore lagao in nalaiqoon per? Ab sabr kero aur sonah ki koshish kero." he wrote in a tweet.

He also shared the video clip of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a caption that: "Modi g is giving Bhashan [lecture] on Satellite communication as he is actually an astronaut and not politician.."
Fawad also demanded the India lower house of parliament to hold their premier accountable for wasting millions of dollars of a poor nation.
"Lok Sabha should question him [PM Modi] on wasting Rs900 crore of a poor nation."

Renowned Pakistani scientist Dr Atta-ur-Rehman, however, strongly criticised those making fun of India’s moon mission.
“Critics of India regarding "failure" of moon mission are so wrong. It was still a huge technological achievement to have come so close. Pakistan is decades behind. We need to rise and invest in Space Science instead of rejoicing on the Indian failure. Wake up Pakistan,” he wrote in a tweet.

Shiraz Hassan, a journalist associated with the private news agency also took a jibe at the minister.
"Failed to construct a BRT system in #Peshawar for last several years but celebrating Indian space mission failure. These guys are ruling the country #Pakistan - #Chandrayaan2Live"

"I'd never mock another country's failure to land on moon but I also have no good words for a country that's trying to land vehicles on moon while keeping 8-million Kashmiris under a continuous draconian communication and movement lockdown & curfew, with all elected reps [representatives] in jail," wrote another prominent journalist.

However, many other users joined the chorus of critical views and spoke against India’s failed moon landing attempt.
Military’s chief spokesperson Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, using his personal Twitter handle, said that subscribing to the Hindutva ideology “would take India nowhere”.
Well done @isro

Who to blame:
1. Under siege innocent Kashmiris of IOJ&K?
2. Muslims & minorities of endia?
4. Sane anti hindituva voices of endia?
4. ISI?
hindituva will take you nowhere, let alone moon.

Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi tweeted that India’s moon landing mission was an attempt to delude the people into believing that the country was a super power even though the majority lives below the poverty line.
