RAWALPINDI: The provincial education ministry has permitted schools to accept new admissions. However, only those schools have been allowed to accept admissions who lack full strength in the new educational year.

A circular issued by the ministry outlined the new policy wherein heads of schools have been instructed to focus on enrolling students to capacity.

Those schools which are full have been barred from taking on additional students.

Meanwhile, all nine boards falling under the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) will conduct Intermediate supplementary examinations from October 15. According to a Rawalpindi Education Board spokesperson Arsalan Cheema, admission forms for the exams can be obtained online while September 15 is the deadline for submitting the forms.
