Punjab govt launches online payments

The meeting reviews progress on the implementation of reforms initiated in different departments

LAHORE: The Punjab government has started providing the facility of online fee payment as part of an initiative to ease business activity.

This was announced during a meeting of the provincial working group at the Civil Secretariat on Friday. The meeting reviewed progress on the implementation of reforms initiated in different departments.

The planning and development secretary told the meeting that various reforms have been successfully implemented. Under the system, token tax, property tax, professional tax, motor vehicle registration, E-stamping, mutation and other payments could be made.
