Pakistan fifth most violent country in the world: Report

A report by an Australia based research centre said that Pakistan was the fifth most violent nation in the world.
The report said that Iraq is the most violent nation, followed by Somalia, Afghanistan, Sudan, Pakistan, Israel, Georgia, Chad and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The United States ranked eighty-fifth, below Cuba and China and just ahead of Angola.
Beacons of peace include New Zealand, which topped the index, followed by Iceland, Japan, Austria, Norway, Ireland, Denmark, Luxembourg, Finland and Sweden.
The report was prepared by the Institute for Economics and Peace, and said that the world in general was becoming a more violent place.
