CE has initiated a crackdown against land grabbers in the province

LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has retrieved 1,726 kanals of state land worth more than Rs304 million from illegal occupants and handed it over to the department concerned. ACE has initiated a crackdown against land grabbers in the province. According to details, ACE retrieved 287 kanals of state land from grabbers worth Rs66 million. Meanwhile, 53 kanals of state land worth Rs8.48 million has been retrieved from illegal occupants in Moza Kalawari in Lodhran tehsil. It should be highlighted that the land in question belonged to the irrigation department. Similarly, ACE Vehari retrieved 704 kanals worth Rs59 million and ACE Sahiwal retrieved 682 kanals worth Rs170 million. The retrieved land has been handed over to the department concerned.
