Senior entertainment journalist Nadia (Nieni) Faisal laid to rest

She was laid to rest in Karachi after Zuhr prayers.

Senior entertainment journalist Nadia Faisal, known to her closed ones as Neini, passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.

Neini's husband, Faisal Rafi shared the news on Twitter.

“Dear friends and colleagues, my wife who most of you knew as Nieni passed away today after a long struggle with cancer, will share funeral details soon, please remember her in your thoughts and prayers,” he wrote.

She was  laid to rest on Wednesday after Zuhr prayers. Her Soyem will be held between Asr and Maghrib on Thursday at House  1E, 7th East Street, Phase 1, D.H.A. Karachi.

Neini was a senior journalist associated with the entertainment  industry for more than two decades. Soon after the news came out, condolences poured in for the late journalist.
