LAHORE: Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz has said that the PML-N’s attempts to form a grand alliance against an elected government amount to treason, Express 24/7 reported on Wednesday. He said that despite Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s incompetence, a no confidence motion will not be moved against him under the PPP’s politics of reconciliation policy. Talking to reporters in Lahore, the opposition leader also asked the judiciary to take suo motu notice of the Mianwali issue. Raja Riaz has also claimed that Punjab is heading towards a disaster while the chief minister is solving the province’s issues from the streets of London.
