Schoolgirl saved from kidnapping
Three people including a woman were also killed in separate incidents
RAWALPINDI:
Police arrested a suspect allegedly belonging to a gang that kidnapped young girls after they get off from school.
Thirteen-year-old, Kulsoom Banaras walked outside the government school near Sir Syed Chowk after school when she was intercepted by an unidentified man. The suspect forced Kulsoom to come with him after which she started screaming for help. Hearing the call, the two traffic wardens including Bilal and Kamran, who were performing duties nearby, approached the site and arrested the suspect.
Upon inquiry, Kulsoom immediately said the suspect was a complete stranger who was trying to abduct her, after which the wardens shifted both of them to the Waris Khan Police Station.
During the interrogation by SHO Malik Muhammad Khan, the suspect identified himself as Fawad. Police informed the victim’s family and she was taken away by her father.

Amjad Ali told Margalla Police that unidentified men killed his brother by tying a rope around his neck in Sector G-8.
Similarly, Tarnol Police was informed by Muhammad Zaad that his married daughter, S*, was shot in neck by her husband Shoban. The suspect’s brother and sister in law assisted him in the crime.
Further, Ghazanfar Ali told the Sihala Police that Shamraiz shot his son Usman regarding a dispute over an old case.
The police have registered separate cases of all incidents.
Brothers arrested
Rawat Police arrested two brothers who killed an opponent to avenge their father’s murder.
The suspects, Bilal Ajaib and Imran Ajaib had killed Zia Mehmood inside his house.
