Journalists register FIR against suspect for fraud

Journalists in Peshawar have registered an FIR against Ziaullah, a resident of Swabi, who has tricked local journalists into giving him money to make bookings for a trip to Turkey. However, he managed to flee with the money.
According to the FIR Ziaullah had arranged a trip to turkey for the Peshawar based Press Club journalists and also took Rs8,000 from each of them, a few months before along with their passports, since then neither did the suspect update them on the trip nor did he return their money and passports.
The Peshawar Press club journalists have lodged an FIR under section 419-240 against the absconder Ziaullah, who had already been in judicial lockup in Islamabad on the same charges and soon he would be repatriated to Peshawar.
