Dangerous Love: In Gilgit, an affair turns deadly for the other man
The Gilgit police solved the mystery surrounding a missing person’s case as his wife and her boyfriend confessed to murdering him, police said on Wednesday.
Mukhar Hussain, a resident of Gilgit, went missing on June 15. His relatives later registered a case with the police about his sudden disappearance.
Police recovered his bullet-riddled body from the riverside of Oshikhandas on Tuesday, said an official in Gilgit police station.
“We were investigating, but the recovery of the body helped us a lot in identifying the culprits,” police said, adding that Parveen was on bad terms with her husband.
Parveen then admitted that she murdered Mukhtar with the assistance with Jehanzeb, an engineer with Radio Pakistan in Gilgit.
Police said Parveen was also an employee of Radio Pakistan and had a ‘secret’ relationship with Jehanzeb.
“When we questioned her, she confessed to killing him in connivance with her boyfriend,” police said, adding that Jehanzeb also confessed to having sought the help of his relative Arslan. The culprits are behind bars.

They you punish her in a way that others will learn a lesson... I believe its a learnt behavior. will happen more often in future if no preventive measures. please punish this girl who killed her husband ... (life prison or death penalty).. please dont release her on the bases of Rishwat.
1- Last year one lady (Oshikhandass) killed her husband and dumped his body. Was in jail for a bit but released very soon. Why our legal system is so hopeless, does not she deserve to be in prison for rest of her life? 2- Now this case.. 3- Another lady from oshikhandass(Khanum) fought with her husband and she hit him with a danda broke his finger. This lady has four kids and she is in relationship with another married guy and many others too (driver his name is shero s/o Niat shah).
such a shame for all of us from GB, Is there anyway to teach any lessens to these type of ladies? Please do something to make a secure and healthy environment and to prevent these incidents, conduct workshops through any organization etc. If they are in love with someone else they should be honest tell the reality and leave current husband and go with their lover. Why are they taking innocent lives?
