Pakistan Navy marks Independence Day with traditional pomp and gusto

Flag-hoisting ceremonies, boat rallies and independence day walk held nation-wide

The Pakistan Navy on Wednesday celebrated Independence Day with traditional pomp and gusto kicking festivities off with a gun salute followed by flag hoisting ceremonies.

Special prayers were also offered for the Kashmiri people during this testing time.


Flag-hoisting ceremonies took place at the PNS Zafar, Islamabad and the Pakistan War College, Lahore.

Boat rallies were also organised on the coastal areas including Karachi, Ormara, Gwadar and Keti Bandar.

An independence walk was also held at Sajwal and creek area.
