Pakistan Army to stand by Kashmir: COAS
Says Kashmir's reality will never be changed by an illegal piece of paper
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa in his message on Pakistan's 73rd Independence Day and Kashmir Solidarity Day said, Pakistan will stand by Kashmir and the army 'will remain fully ready to perform its part' in line of their national duty for the cause.
In a two part tweet, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) DG Major General Asif Ghafoor quoted the COAS and said that Kashmir's reality will never be changed by an illegal piece of paper.
The tweet further said that no force can change the the reality of Kashmir, not now, nor in the future.
The COAS said 'Pakistan has always stood by Kashmiris against India's hegemonic ambitions' and always will.
The tweet reiterated the Pakistan Army's resolve to 'stand in the face of tyranny, regardless of the cost'.
The COAS also said the Pakistan Army is fully aware about the 'sanctity of Jammu & Kashmir'.
