The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Tuesday launched a song for the Independence Day, according to Radio Pakistan.

The song, which is titled Azad, pays tribute to the resilience of Pakistanis for having weathered adversity since its inception to emerge as a progressive nation.

The song has been composed and sung by the famous musician Sahir Ali Bagga.

The song depicts the selfless contribution of the armed forces in safeguarding the sovereignty of the motherland.

The entire nation is all set to celebrate the country’s 73rd birthday celebrations.

National flags have been hoisted on roofs, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, shops and homes. With decorations and colourful lighting setup throughout Pakistan.
