Fake Encounter: ‘DSP the main culprit in killing’

LAHORE: The departmental inquiry in Sattukatla encounter declared it a fake and pinned the blame on the DSP, concluding that he had given the orders to kill Shehbaz Butt, The Express Tribune has learnt. The inquiry held by Police Training School (PTS) Chuhng principal DIG Major (retd) Mubashirullah had revealed that DSP Riasat Bajwa ordered that Butt (28) be killed in an encounter. It was revealed in the report that Butt was taken to Bajwa’s room who admonished SI Riaz and ordered that he kill Butt.
