121 suspects get bail before Eid

Courts order release of suspects in order to provide them a chance to celebrate Eid with their families

RAWALPINDI: As a gesture of clemency ahead of Eidul Azha, all lower courts in Rawalpindi district approved bails of some 121 suspects in different cases this week. The courts ordered release of suspects in order to provide them a chance to celebrate Eid with their families. Some 57 more bails have been arranged for proceedings on Friday and last working day falling on Saturday. These suspects were involved in misdemeanours like selling and flying kites or petty crimes including gambling, liquor consumption and such.
