HYDERABAD:
The Joint Investigation Team investigating the suspected rape and murder of a 10-year-old girl in Larkana on July 24 has arrested two more suspects in addition to the 13-year-old boy, who had earlier confessed to the crime.
The police, in the presence of the judicial magistrate and victim's family, exhumed her body after the family expressed dissatisfaction over the earlier postmortem.
Nao Dero police station SHO Ali Hassan Mugheri told the local media that two persons, Abdul Hafeez Morio and Mumtaz Soomro alias Don, have been arrested.

The victim had left home to buy milk from the home of the accused, 13-year-old boy, on July 24 but she did not return home. Her body was later found from an orchard after hours-long search.
According to Larkana SSP Masood Bangash, the accused had told the police that he attempted the rape but had killed her by throttling her neck when she resisted. Meanwhile, a team of doctors from Chandka Hospital and forensic experts collected samples of the body after exhumation.
