PM reconstitutes committee on Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday reconstituted the high-powered committee on Kashmir formed to give proposals to formulate political, legal and diplomatic options on the latest developments regarding Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).

According to the official notification, Ahmar Bilal Sufi has been removed from the new committee that now consists of 11 members.

A representative of Azad Jammu Kashmir has been added to the committee while Law Minister Farogh Nasim, Special Assistant to PM on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan and Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Chairperson MNA Fakhar Imam have also been included in the list.

PM Khan formed the committee on August 6 after New Delhi stripped IoK of its special status by abrogating Article 370.

It initially comprised seven members and was tasked to develop a political, diplomatic and legal framework on which the government could proceed on the longstanding issue with the Narendra Modi-led government.

The committee still includes the foreign minister, attorney general, foreign secretary, and DG ISPR, among others.

A notification in this regard was issued by the prime minister’s secretary Azam Khan.

The changes imposed by Modi’s Hindu nationalist-led government are the most sweeping in the nearly 30 years that India has been battling a freedom struggle in occupied Kashmir.

India to International Community : Kashmir is a Bilateral Issue. India to Pakistan : Kashmir is an Internal Issue. India to Kashmiris: Kashmir is an integral part of India. 1948, a Hindu Maharajah, alone decides the fate of a piece of land that is inhabited by 97 percent of Muslims through a ' fake accord' which neither Kashmiris nor Pakistanis accepted. Now in 2019, the world's largest democracy has to house arrest every Kashmiri, cut all of their communications with the rest of the world including India and last but not the least to send tens of thousands of troops to the valley to suppress any voice that can complain about the hardships and can express the emotions of the locals and then decide the fate of the people of Kashmir in such a situation in their parliament where no Kashmiri Muslim was even sitting and no Muslim voted for it from the rest of the India as all were probably Hindus. Secular India (which was never a Secular India as a matter of fact) has been replaced by a fanatic Hindu India that can enjoy their win over Pakistan in Champion trophy final even before the match has started and that can send 2 fighter jets and pilot captured in a daylight and got returned on TV camera and the whole world watched it. This happens when you have people with peanuts in their heads ruling over you and is exactly has started happening with India. History will mark my words ' but this is the first step of India towards its own destruction and the first major one towards the independence of Kashmir' Pakistan Zinda baad
