FAISALABAD:
The anti-corruption establishment arrested two police officials for taking a bribe on Tuesday. According to police officials, circle officer (ACE) Malik Javaid Iqbal conducted separate raids regarding different complaints from locals involving police corruption. Iqbal and his team arrested ASI Iftikhar of Madina Town Police and constable Abdur Razzaq of the Gulberg Police Station for accepting a bribe of Rs38,000. Both police officials were presented before the court which sent them to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
