RAWALPINDI:
The Gunjmandi police arrested four drug pushers including a woman and seized 2.25kg of hashish, 1,050 bottles of liquor from their possession.
The police apprehended the alleged drug pushers Sumaira Bibi, Ahmed Khan, Fayyaz Sultan and Khizar Mehmood during clean up operation in Hazara Colony on Sunday and seized 1kg of hashish from Sumaira, 1.20kg from Ahmed, 550 bottles of liquor from Sultan and 550 bottles from Mehmood.
The police registered separate cases against them under relevant law and started investigations. Meanwhile, a man was shot injured by two armed men in Gunjmandi area. Shahid Khan, a resident of Akalgarh area lodged a report with the same police that he was taking bath in Leh drain when two men opened fire at him and injured him with pistol and fled.
