Just recently, reports that Sunny had rescued a 45-year-old woman from Kuwait went viral on social media, reported Business Standard.
The woman, Veena Bedi, was allegedly sold as a slave in the Middle-Eastern country. She was reportedly sold to a strange man by a travel agent who had conned her into believing that he would help her land a housekeeping job for a salary of Rs 30,000 per month.

And of course, the Gadar: Ek Prem Katha star was helped in his effort by two NGOs, one of which is in Kuwait.
Sunny’s father, veteran actor Dharmendra, took to Twitter to commend his son’s humanitarian work. "Naukri samajh ke farz nibhana, Sunny beta (Treat your job as your responsibility, son). God bless you," he wrote on his official Twitter handle.
Dharmendra also shared a snapshot of a newspaper report on the development.
