Bathing banned at Sajikot waterfall 

This move follows tourists being swept away while trying to take selfies

ABBOTTABAD:
With some tourists being swept away while trying to take selfies, the Abbottabad district administration on Monday mposed a ban on bathing in waterfalls at Sajikot in Havelian, terming it dangerous for both humans and animals. The ban, according to a notification issued by the Abbottabad Deputy Commissioner, has been imposed under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Violators will be punished under the relevant law.  The deputy commissioner’s office said that the ban was imposed after several lives were lost at the popular tourist destination.
