KARACHI: An accountability court provided copies of references to Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leaders, Mustafa Kamal and Iftekhar Qaimkhani, and other accused in the case pertaining to the illegal allotment of government land. The accused will be indicted in the next hearing.

Karachi's accountability court was hearing the reference. Kamal, Qaimkhani and other accused appeared before the court.

Former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal complained before the court that while he has been accused of illegal land allotment, the reference filed against him nowhere mentions this except for in the title. "It is damaging my reputation," he said.

The court remarked that if he has any objection to the title of the reference, he may submit a request for changing the title.  The court adjourned the hearing till August 17.
