All sacrificial animals coming to the designated markets will get anti-tick spray, while the livestock department workers spraying the animals will be provided with safety gear, a DHA official told The Express Tribune.
Livestock workers will wear special clothing and masks while inspecting animals at cattle markets, he said.
DHA said that the cattle traders should not bring tick-infested animals to markets. Officials said that traders should take sick animals to government veterinary clinics for treatment, instead of trying to sell off on Eidul Azha.
