Woman kills man for alleged deception

Victim reportedly promised to marry suspect but tied the knot elsewhere

LAHORE: A woman allegedly killed a man for failing to live up to his promise of marriage. After committing the crime, the suspect surrendered herself to the police, who also arrested her former husband.

According to the police, a man named Mudassir, a resident of Mohalla Mission Colony, had promised to marry a woman named Fiza and had a relationship with her. Fiza also divorced her husband with the intention to marry Mudassir, who was a bodybuilder.

However, Mudassir reportedly betrayed her and decided to tie the knot with another woman. Unable to bear the deception, Fiza allegedly shot and killed Mudassir.

Police said the victim was on his way home on a motorcycle when he was shot dead near Mission Chowk. The victim’s brother narrated the story and said four people, including the woman, fired at his brother.

From child bride to sham wife

Based on this information, the police also arrested the former husband of the suspect. According to the police, the woman presented herself at the police station and surrendered the murder weapon. The police arrested the woman and filed a case.

They said the matter was being investigated further and the facts would be revealed accordingly. The officials assured that If any other accused were involved, they would also be arrested.

Fear and panic spread in the area after the sudden murder of the bodybuilder. The deceased was buried at a local graveyard amid the wailing and crying of his aggrieved family.

Police said the arrested accused would be presented before the court to seek their remand.
