Broken dykes: Thirty villages flooded in rural Sindh

The dyke already had 100-foot breach 20 days ago which flooded three villages and crops.

SUKKUR: A 20-foot-wide breach in dyke Nasir Shakh at Sabz Ali Banglani has inundated several villages in Thull. The residents protested against the irrigation ministry and burnt tyres in front of the Sukkur press club. They claimed that the material used to repair the dyke was of inferior quality. The dyke already had 100-foot breach 20 days ago which flooded three villages and crops.
