Recruitment: FESCO hires 1,053 new staff members

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company (Fesco) has displayed a list of 1,053 successful candidates for recruitment in different categories from grade 2 to 14 at Fesco Headquarters inline with the directives of the Lahore High Court (LHC). The open posts included assistant line man (ALM), meter reader (MR), bill distributor (BD), assistant sub station attendant (ASSA), naib qadis, driver, lower division clerk (LDC), upper division clerk (UDC), commercial assistant, line superintendent – I (LS) and sub station operation II (SSO). A Fesco spokesperson said the selection was made by adopting a transparent process of tests and interviews. As total of 860 candidates were selected in the first round. The list of successful candidates has also been uploaded on the Fesco website at www.fesco.com.pk and appointment letters are being issued to the successful candidates.
