Fire erupts at Karachi airport

No loss recorded

KARACHI: Fire erupted in the basement of Jinnah International Airport on Thursday afternoon. It was later extinguished and fortunately, no loss was recorded. Smoke filled the entire basement where many stores are located. Civil Aviation Authority officials summoned fire tenders and staff of the fire department to control the blaze.
