PESHAWAR: A cleanliness campaign was undertaken at Saiful Mulook and Mahodand lakes along with other tourist spots in the province on the direction of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai.

Tarakai had directed the relevant authorities to strictly maintain cleanliness at tourist spots and not to allow anyone to create hurdles in this regard.

The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) had launched the campaign on the banks of Lake Saiful Mulook with over a dozen sanitary workers taking part.

KDA Project Director Khwaja Faheem Sajjad said that he was monitoring the cleanliness campaign.

On the other hand, the Bahrain Tehsil Municipal Administration installed waste bins at various locations such as Kalam, Paloga glacier and at the Mahodand lake.
