QUETTA:

The body of political activist Mir Ghaffar Lango, who was listed as missing from Karachi around two years ago, was found near Gadani on Friday.

According to SHO Amir Abdullah at Gadani police, law-enforcers found the body in an abandoned hotel near Lakbado area. “The body bore multiple marks of torture. The cause of death is said to be a severe wound in the head caused by a hard and blunt object,” he said.

Lango’s family, who had been protesting for two years, blame security agencies for the killing. He was whisked away in December 2009 from Karachi.

Lango was affiliated with Baloch Haq-i-Tawar, (voice of Baloch rights), a debating forum formed by Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri.

well wisher of Baloachs | 12 years ago | Reply All those people taking dictation/Finances from America and India should be apprehended and treated as traitors.......Balochs should stand up against their "Sardars" instead of asking for independence... Agencies should go all the way not to kill a single innocent Baloch....as they are our brothers but those who are traitors should not be spared
