PESHAWAR: The provincial finance minister has asked all departments to sort out their financial affairs pertaining to the financial year 2018-19 with the banks until July 15. Should the departments fail to do so, the department warned that their funds will be frozen.

A circular issued from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) finance department to the secretaries and other relevant officers of all provincial departments, states that financial matters pertaining to local banks must be settled by July 15.

The finance department also warned that all those departments who have failed to utilise their allocated funds for the outgoing financial year 2018-19, apart from failing to settle their accounts with the banks, they will not get their allocations for the incoming financial year 2019-20.
