The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has prepared a list of candidates for the slots of president and prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), reported Express 24/7.
However, the final decision will be made once President Asif Ali Zardari returns from the UK.
According to sources, the names of Chaudhry Majeed, Chaudhry Yasin and Barrister Sultan Mehmood are under consideration for the top offices of the AJK government.
PPP leader Faryal Talpur, who is also the sister of President Zardari, has scrutinised the list.
At least three meetings have taken place to shortlist the names of prospective AJK leaders.
