70-year-old woman found dead

LAHORE: A 70-year-old woman was found dead in her home in Kahna. Police have taken the body into custody and have sent it for a post mortem report. Police said that 70-year-old Nusrat Bibi and her daughter Sadaf resided in Rehan Town area in Kahna. On the day of the incident, police received information that Nusrat Bibi had died mysteriously. Officials reached the scene and arrested the deceased’s daughter. Police officials said that Nusrat Bibi’s fingernails were bleeding but no torture marks or bruises were discovered on her body. Residents told police that the mother and daughter would argue. During interrogation, Sadaf told police that the deceased had diabetes which is why her fingernails were bleeding. Officials stated that they are currently investigating the incident and will take appropriate action after the results of the post mortem report.
