Next year’s budget (II)

LAHORE: Marvi Memon has good intentions and good points in her article on the 2010-11 budget.

The allocations are surely not pro-poor and she is right in saying that it is mostly dictated by the IMF. Having said that, this is nothing new — even the previous PML-Q government was involved in a similar kind of budget-making exercise.
