Ghotki budget: Rs1 million approved for poor patients
GHOTKI:
An amount of Rs1 million was allocated for the treatment and provision of medicines for poor patients on Thursday by Ghotki DCO Zahid Ali Abbasi. He presented an annual budget of Rs4 billion for 2011-12 and allocated Rs740 million for 630 new uplift schemes and Rs4.4 million for on- going development projects. “We will plan to open 31 new schools in the district. Through the budget we have created 394 posts for teachers and allocated Rs206 million for their salaries,” he said.
