The fishermen had been arrested by the Indian Navy for alleged violation of international maritime borders. They were released via Wagah border and reached Karachi Cantt station today.
Speaking to the media on their arrival, the released boys said they had been subjected to torture and discrimination on the basis of religion in Indian jails.
Earlier, India had released 70 Pakistani prisoners including 52 fishermen. The imprisonment and release of fishermen from both sides of the border has been regularly taking place over the last few months. However, it often takes months for the release of such prisoners.
