Glorious Rawalpindi project in the making

The administration and traders need to work together says ex-commissioner

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi would be made a model but the administration and traders need to work together for it.

This was said by ex-commissioner Rawalpindi, Joudat Ayaz in the farewell ceremony arranged in his honor by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce Industry (RCCI).

He said that glorious Rawalpindi project would enhance the city’s beauty and restore its historical condition. He added that recommendations of chamber regarding traffic issues, encroachments etc were practical while problems could only be solved through mutual cooperation.

On the occasion, the deputy commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi, Ali Randhawa, said that the doors of his office were open for any suggestions which would be implemented.

Further, the president chamber, Malik Shahid Saleem, hailed the services of outgoing commissioner for betterment of the city and said that he (Ayaz) established a good working relationship between the administration and chamber. He wished the ex-commissioner that he worked with all his heart and enthusiasm wherever he was deployed.

The ex-chamber president, Sohail Altaf, said that problems in Rawalpindi had increased with its expansion and added that professionals like Joudat Ayaz and Ali Randhawa were required to solve them.
